Intro

In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, digitalisation has become an essential part of effective teaching and learning. This one-week course in Thessaloniki offers educators the opportunity to explore innovative tools, platforms, and methodologies that transform classroom experiences. Through hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and creative digital projects, participants will gain the skills and confidence to integrate technology meaningfully into their lessons. From Web 2.0 tools to gamification, AI, augmented reality, and digital storytelling, this programme equips teachers with practical strategies to inspire their students and foster 21st-century skills.

Destination:

Thessaloniki – the heart of northern Greece. Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece, considered the co-capital of the country. It’s the place the heart of Northern Greece beats since antiquity. It served as an economical and commercial centre for many years and has rapidly developed, mostly because of its geographical location.

A stroll around the city instantly reveals its rich history. The Old Town, the Castle of Heptapyrgio, the Rotunda, the emblematic White Tower built during the Ottoman rule are just a few of the city’s famous monuments that will please every culture and history enthusiast.
