Intro
Are you ready to explore how digital tools and artificial intelligence can make learning more creative, interactive, and engaging?
‘Smart teaching’ explores the role of technology in modern education, combining artificial intelligence, digital tools, gamification, and interactive learning approaches. Participants will experiment with AI applications, QR codes, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 tools, mobile learning, digital storytelling, and smart assessment strategies.
The course encourages participants to explore how technology can support creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and student engagement.
Who is this for?
This course is tailored for education professionals of all disciplines, including teachers, trainers, youth workers, mentors, and other professionals interested in exploring digital approaches to learning.
No advanced digital expertise is required. Participants with different levels of experience are welcome to experiment with new technologies and discover practical ways to integrate them into their educational practice. Participants will benefit from an international learning experience while travelling with Erasmus+.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explore digital pedagogy: Understand how digital technologies and AI can support creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and engagement.
- Experiment with AI in education: Explore AI tools and strategies for creating content, designing learning activities, and supporting assessment.
- Use interactive digital tools: Experiment with QR codes, mobile learning, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 platforms to create more interactive learning experiences.
- Explore gamification: Discover how games, challenges, and gamified activities can increase motivation and participation.
- Develop smart assessment approaches: Explore digital and AI-supported tools for formative and summative assessment.
- Create multimedia content: Experiment with interactive videos, digital storytelling, and other multimedia resources.
- Design technology-enhanced learning: Apply digital tools and approaches to create a student-centred learning activity.
- Reflect and exchange: Present ideas, receive feedback, and exchange experiences with other education professionals.
Modules
- Module 1: Foundations of technology-enhanced teaching. Explore current trends in educational technology and the role of AI in modern learning.
- Module 2: Digital pedagogy and 21st-century competencies. Examine how technology can support creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and digital literacy.
- Module 3: Gamification in the classroom. Discover ways to use games, challenges, and digital activities to encourage motivation and participation.
- Module 4: Interactive and blended learning. Experiment with mobile devices, apps, and online platforms to create more active learning experiences.
- Module 5: Smart assessment. Discover how AI and digital tools can support formative and summative assessment.
- Module 6: Technology-enhanced learning activities. Apply the tools and approaches explored during the course to develop student-centred learning activities.
- Module 10: Showcase and peer feedback. Present activities and ideas, exchange feedback, and reflect on different approaches to technology-enhanced learning.

Equipment
Participants are required to bring a laptop for activities involving AI tools, web-based platforms, digital applications, and other technologies used during the course.
