Intro

Are you ready to captivate your classroom with the power of drama games and creative storytelling?

“Drama games and creative storytelling” immerses educators in the dynamic world of acting, improvisation, and creative writing.

This course includes a variety of creative activities, such as storytelling games, drama games, improvisation, and character creation, designed to encourage imagination, creativity, and self-expression. Explore simple and engaging ways to develop stories, express ideas, and bring creativity into your educational practice.

Who is this for?

This course is tailored for education, cultural and youth professionals of all disciplines – including teachers, youth leaders, camp directors, language instructors, and storytellers – who want to increase student motivation through drama.

No prior acting or theatrical expertise is required. Just curiosity and a willingness to embrace playful learning techniques. Participants will benefit from an international learning experience while traveling with Erasmus+.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Develop creative storytelling skills: Explore ways to generate ideas and turn them into engaging stories.
• Explore drama games: Experience a variety of activities that encourage imagination, spontaneity, and creative expression.
• Develop characters: Experiment with different approaches to creating interesting and believable fictional characters.
• Explore improvisation: Use simple improvisation activities to develop spontaneity, imagination, and confidence in expressing ideas.
• Strengthen creative expression: Use storytelling, movement, games, and role-play to explore different ways of expressing ideas and emotions.
• Encourage creativity and participation: Discover playful approaches that can make creative activities more engaging and enjoyable.

Modules

• Module 1: Creative ideation. Take part in ice-breakers and creative games designed to stimulate imagination and generate story ideas.
• Module 2: Storytelling through games. Explore drama and storytelling games that encourage spontaneity, imagination, and creative thinking.
• Module 3: Imagination and expression. Experiment with activities that develop imagination and explore different ways of expressing ideas.
• Module 4: Character creation. Create fictional characters and explore their personalities, backgrounds, motivations, and relationships.
• Module 5: Developing stories. Build stories around characters and ideas, exploring different ways to make them engaging and meaningful.
• Module 6: Improvisation and storytelling. Bring characters to life through improvisation and collaborative creative activities.

Equipment

The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through some of the world’s most formidable edifices.

Who hasn’t heard of the Acropolis of Athens? Photos and history of the most famous archaeological monument in Europe is admired by thousands of people. Acropolis is nominated to be one of the 7 wonders of modern world. In fact the trademark of Athens is one of the favorites. The Holy Rock of Acropolis dates back to the 5th BC, the famous Golden Age of Periklis. Athens met times of bloom and decline, but still shines under the Attic sky gazing the future. Still sparkling like the marbles of Parthenon and the limpid white of Pentelic marble.
