Intro
Climate change and loss of biodiversity is seen as the most pressing challenge over the decade, according to the World in 2030 Survey report published by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). According to WWF ‘We are the first generation to know we’re destroying the world, and we could be the last that can do anything about it.’
The solution lies to personal responsibility but also education.
In this course participants will learn how to implement practices to make their classroom, school and community aware of the environmental challenges, and more eco-friendly.
The goal, therefore, of this training programme is that given a number of topics to work on, the participants will experience and evaluate certain practices, but also design their own plans for incorporation in their own educational context.
